Andy Rhodes: I'm a Texas-based writer currently working in Austin as managing editor of the Texas Historical Commission's magazine The Medallion. I also actively pursue freelance projects, including cultural writing, photography, and copyediting.

My updated travel guidebook, Moon Handbooks: Texas, was released in November 2014. My regional guidebook, Moon Handbooks: Houston and the Texas Gulf Coast, was published in October 2013.
